OO-STA (sn 19400 / ln 400), here seen in February 1970, was the first of a batch of five Boeing 727-29 to be delivered to Sabena between April 1967 and October 1968. After its first flight on 16.04.1967, it joined the Belgian national carrier nine days later. In 1974 it was sold Brazilian carrier Cruzeiro do Sul and became PP-CJJ. In 1983 it was bought by Aero Peru and registration changed to OB-R-1277, later to OB-1277. Aero Peru removed it from service in 1993 and scrapped two years later at Lima.
