After Pan Am’s bankruptcy in January 1991, Delta Air Lines took over the profitable parts, as the European routes and received all 21 Airbus 310. A310-222 N806PA (ln 342) made its first flight on 28.04.1984 and was delivered to Kuwait Airways on 28.09.1984 as 9V-AHJ. In February 1986 this airliner was purchased by Pan Am and served with this carrier until its end in January 1991. In the mid-1990s Delta began to remove the A310s from service, all of the series 200 were sold to FedEx. This aircraft was used by FeDex until 2011 as N421FE, when it was withdrawn from use and stored at Victorville in February 2012.
