“Acores” is the name of this Boeing 727-082 of Portuguese national carrier TAP Air Portugal. CS-TBK (s/n 19404 / ln 384) made its first flight on 06 March 1967 and was handed over to TAP Air Portugal six days later. It served for the carrier until July 1989, when it was sold to Canadian carrier Worldways Airlines. Later it found its way to Africa, when it was sold to Transafrik in March 1993. CS-TBK was taken at Frankfurt in March 1985 while approaching runway 25L. With deliveries between March 1967 and March 1971, Portuguese national carrier Transportes Aereos Portugueses received a batch of seven Boeing 727-82 followed by deliveries of the series -200 from January 1975 on.
