SX-BAY Apollo Airlines Airbus A300B4-203 – cn 208

With three used Airbus A300B in its inventory, this small Athens-based charter airline was founded in March 1994 and started regular charter operations following year, linking European cities with the Greek resorts in summer seasons. With less passengers in the winter months, the airline lost money and after the summer season 1996, it had to cease its operations. Taking off from RWY 18, SX-BAY starts its last flight from Frankfurt to Athens on 08 November 1996. Apollo Airlines sold the former Pan Am aircraft to DHL, which used it after cargo conversion on its night-freight routes.
