With TF-FIE Icelandair received its first jet aircraft on 24.06.1967. Named after the mystic horse „Gullfaxi“ it served until 1985 with Icelandair before being sold. Last operator of TF-FIE was United Parcel Service, which operated it as N936UP until 2007. The cockpit section of „Gullfaxi“ can be seen in the museum.
Deliverd to Icelandic Coast Guard in November 1985, TF-SIF was used for search and rescue, coastal patrol, air ambulance etc until 17 July 2007, when it was damaged during an offshore training excercise.
