On February 9, 1969 for the first time the prototype of the world largest passenger plane made its way to the sky and opened a new category in air travel and transportation. More than fifty years later, many of the the Boeing 747 are still in service with airlines around the world. 

Boeing on 29.07.2020 in a press release oficially announced the end of the production of the iconic 747 in 2022, due to descending orders for the Boeing 747-8.
