Position 3, Visitor’s Terrace Terminal 2 (19.10.2016)

Visitor’s Deck Airport Terminal 2 is the classic viewing position and gives good overview over the ground movements and the parked aircraft at Terminal 2. Opened since July 2016, the new re-worked 1800m² terrace now is equipped with a protection fence with few holes in it, enabling photographers taking unspoiled photos of the aircraft and the ground movements.

Because of southward orientation, on sunny days photographers will have few problems with frontlight at RWY 25 and take off at RWY 07 also. New Runway 25R / 07L is situated behind the terminal at the north side, which can not be seen from the visitors deck. Security check; liquid refreshements are allowed to take on the deck.

The Visitors‘ Terrace is located in Terminal 2 at the Food Plaza (Level 4) next to McDonald’s. Please follow the signs to the Shopping Plaza in Terminal 2, and from there to the Food Plaza/Visitors‘ Terrace.
